| As junior, Anthony Beard finished with 65 total tackles. He says he can bench 330-pounds and has a 33-inch vertical jump.
Partial senior (4-3) stats: 67 tackles, 12 TFL and one sack.
Beard plans to major in wildlife biology and reports a 2.6 core GPA and took the ACT on Sept. 12. “I forgot my score,” he said. “But I’m qualified. I’ll take it again because I know I can do better, but I’m qualified though.”
Beard: “I come downhill and I’m quick to the ball. I tackle good because I work hard and have good technique. I want to improve my angles when I run to the ball. I’m also trying to get faster.”
