SMU picked up its 14 commitment for the Class of 2009 Tuesday afternoon when Coppell's offensive lineman Jordan Favreau made his pledge to the Mustangs. Favreau marks the sixth offensive lineman that has made their pledge to SMU proving that June Jones and his staff realizes that most games are won in the trenches.

Favreau marks the sixth offensive lineman that has made their pledge to SMU proving that June Jones and his staff realizes that most games are won in the trenches.

"I committed to SMU this morning," Favreau said. "I love the campus, the coaching staff and it's close to home."

According to the 6-foot-3, 240-pound lineman, he plans on playing guard or tackle at the next level.

"I think I will play tackle or guard at the next level," Favreau said. "We will see."

According to Mike, Jordan's father, the talented offensive lineman has picked up seven official offers so far.

"He has three offers from Big 10 schools, two from Big 12 schools, one from a Pac-10 school and one from SMU.
